Many of you know, I had a child pass away or die or whatever term you feel comfortable with for the inevitable,he passed when he was 9 1/2 yrs old, the half being VERY important to a 9yr old, it has been twelve years since. His passing was after six years of cancer treatment and surgeries for shunt failures resulting in six years of hospital stays varying from a few hours in the emergency room to six weeks in isolation on the pediatric unit.
